What is the Visa Waiver Program?

The Visa Waiver Program* (VWP) enables most citizens or nationals of participating countries to travel to the United States for tourism or business for stays of 90 days or less without obtaining a visa.


You must meet all of the following requirements to travel to the U.S.A on the VWP:

1. Travel purpose must be permitted under on a visitor (B) visa

2. Must be a citizen or national of a VWP Designated country

3. Each traveler must have a valid ESTA** (Electronic System for Travel Authorization

4. Have the correct type of passport that is valid for at least 6 months after your planned departure from the U.S unless exempted by country specific agreements. Each family member including infants and children must have their own passport
