Our Team

Chichi Ofoma, Esq.

Chichi Ofoma is the principal and managing attorney at the Ofoma Law Group (“OLG”). She started this firm because of her passion for helping others especially individuals and small businesses. She is a passionate and solutions-oriented attorney who is dedicated to advocating and finding solutions for her clients. Chichi represents both individuals and corporate clients in transactional and immigration law matters.

Chichi has a breadth of transactional experience primarily in the areas of business, commercial, marketing and advertising law, working with law firms and serving as in-house counsel at large corporations in various sectors. Chichi graduated from Rutgers University School of Law, where she provided pro-bono legal services as part of the Business Law Clinic and taught Business Law to high school students as part the Rutgers Street Law Program. She was one of five students that represented Rutgers School of Law in Paris at the International Mediation Moot Court Competition.

 

After law school, Chichi clerked for the late Honorable Sherry Hutchins-Henderson at the New Jersey Superior Court. Subsequently she worked for the Office of the New Jersey Attorney in their Healthcare Fraud Law Division.

 

She received her undergraduate degree in Management Information Systems and graduated with distinct honors from the Albert Dorman Honors College at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Chichi had a successful career as an IT (SAP) Consultant managing large projects in various continents, before pursuing a career in law.

 

Chichi is a member of the New Jersey Bar and the New York Bar and is a Certified Privacy Professional of the International Association of Privacy Professionals.  She has various professional memberships and affiliations, including the American Immigration Lawyers Association.

 

Chichi is actively involved and volunteers with the Volunteer Lawyers for Justice Organization and the Probono Partnership Organization – organizations which provide pro bono legal services to individuals, non-profit organizations and small businesses. She also mentors several young professionals and students.

 

Chichi speaks and writes on various legal topics, including but not limited to Business and Corporate Law, Advertising and Marketing Law and Immigration Law Matters.  .

 

Chichi enjoys traveling, reading crime novels, spending time with family and giving back to her community through various outreach programs.
